Mövenpick Hotel Sukhumvit 15 Bangkok

We had a wonderful stay at Mövenpick Sukhumvit 15! The hotel is very toddler-friendly — the staff were always warm, helpful, and happily catered to our little one’s food needs. The daily Chocolate Hour was such a treat, and the food overall was excellent — from the buffet breakfast to in-house dining, everything was fresh and well prepared. The location is great, close to the city’s main spots yet peaceful and easy for families. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and service made us feel truly cared for. Highly recommended for families visiting Bangkok!

We had a marvellous stay for 8 nights made extra special thanks to Khun Nui. She is an amazing ambassador for the hotel and the Mövenpick brand. She was very visible and extremely customer service orientated. Always greeting guests and checking how they are. My husband was celebrating his birthday the day we arrived and we had an early check in with a fantastic room upgrade complete with decorations and cake. The executive lounge is one of the best we have been to. Breakfast in the lounge has a nice choice and is very peaceful. Super evening drinks service and more than just canapés. The pool is great, right on the rooftop of building 2. It did get busy though with lots of sunbed hoggers! Overall a first rate hotel and a great base for your Bangkok travels.

We stayed here for a week on a half board basis. On our booking, it clearly said for 2 adults and 1 child. However, the restaurant refused for our son to be entitled to a lunch/evening meal and kept saying he had to share ours because he was under 7! Nowhere had we been informed of this. The menu is different to the Al a Carte menu and it doesn't change so the options are not very varied or suitable for children either. The portions are not very big and although our son tried the food, he didn't want the same as us. On the last day, I asked if he could have some tomato pasta and they refused and said we had to pay. I went to reception to explain that it should be included - they didn't really do much to resolve and it took ages, but eventually the restaurant agreed to let him have it and not charge. If we had known this in advance - we would not have booked here! No drinks are included, only water, too. This experience above, was a shame as we did enjoy it here, but I did have to deduct a star for this. The room was lovely and the bed spacious. House keeping did a good job of keeping everything clean but often didn't provide enough towels/toilet paper. Regular bottled water was provided though and there is a good sized fridge too. The chocolate hour was quite fun, daily 4-5pm some cakes and a chocolate fountain are available to access. The breakfast buffet was good and had a good range and a nice seating area. The location is good, there is a shuttle to the terminal 21 shopping centre every half an hour. Accessible to taxis, tuk tuks and also the metro. Unfortunately, the roads are small and get busy quickly so often it is a lengthy process getting anywhere quickly and end up often sat around in traffic! The pool area is good, 2 sides, 1 shallow and 1 deeper end, towels are available too. No lifeguard on duty though. No life jackets or tubes available for children so remember to bring some.

It was my first time staying here! I booked a Junior Suite AND an Executive Room as I was travelling with my parents and thought the extra space and access to the club lounge would be nice! Prior to arrival, I got in touch to explain my father is a ‘high risk’ falls category and I am 99% blind. As such we support each other and so it would be very helpful if the rooms can be interconnecting or very close by. FIRST OF ALL – The hotel were SUPER considerate! They upgraded the Junior Suite to an Executive Suite (which was massive and really awesome!) so that we could have interconnecting rooms and also be RIGHT NEXT TO THE CLUB LOUNGE for ease and convenience! This was very thoughtful and considerate and a huge thank you goes out to the Room Director Khun Nui! The hotel has a decent gym/fitness centre, a good sized swimming pool and a TukTuk service that takes you to Terminal 21 Shopping Centre where you can easily access both the Asoke BTS or Sukhumvit MRT lines. But my favourites were the Club Lounge and Breakfast! The Club lounge offers breakfast also but we chose to eat in the main restaurant. There is also evening cocktails and light bites! The food selection was decent and although they had more meat and fish options, they made us (vegetarians) some excellent food each day! Each day, they would prepare a different dish and they were both, creative and tasty! A special thank you to Chef Nook! Very caring, kind and friendly! The club lounge team, in particular, Dream, Mint and Fah were excellent! Before checking in, I had asked if the TukTuk can pick me up from Sofitel Bangkok? The hotel happily obliged and I was picked up by a bellman called Khun King! He was so nice that after bringing my luggage to Movenpick, he took me back to Sofitel to pick up my parents where he also had to wait for a few minutes. Each time, he was very friendly and chatty! On arrival at Movenpick, we had checked in with Miew at Front Desk, who I later had a lovely conversation with whilst walking around! She really showed interest and we had an enjoyable conversation. I will definitely return to this hotel (soon) as I always value excellent service and I always want to return to show my appreciation. Thank you all for such a wonderful stay! Khun Young

Loved the hotel! Very very nice and attentive staff, especially at breakfast and helping with finding taxi's, restaurants and overall kindness. Want to point out the Congierge Chang, who made our entire trip!
