Perfect stay in Petra
Fantastic hotel in the perfect location - right at the entrance of the Petra site. Exquisitely decorated, extremely clean, and the staff is welcoming, polite, and helpful. The buffet at the main restaurant is very complete (both at breakfast and dinner) and every dish is delicious. The dinner service staff is particularly friendly especially Mohammad Athamneh and Mohammad Ali (R) - they were attentive and very hospitable.

Unbeatable location to Petra
The location of this hotel to visit Petra is the best. It’s directly opposite the entrance of the museum and the main entrance to the cultural site. Nice staff, although speaking English is not everyone’ s strength. Food is good but pricey. Roof top bar/ restaurant offers only a set menu in the evening and that’s expensive. Atmosphere is worth the money though. The bar menu is nice and we also ate there and food was again proper. Rooms are well sized, a little bit dated but still ok! Breakfast buffet offers a vast variety and especially enjoyed the omelette station. Value for money is ok, therefore 4 and not 5 stars. For us it was truely the proximity of the entrance to Petra that made us choose this hotel. After a long day walking, you don’t have to wait for a shuttle but immediately fall into the entrance lobby. Lobby and bar/ reception area is beautiful and welcoming.

A stay in MP Petra with the family
Movenpick Petra is very comfortable and cool hotel ,and it's near to the Petra site centre ,the food was amazing as we had a barbecue in the hotel al ghadeer roof the team was really friendly and helpful

Al maqad bar and saraya
It was our first time visiting Movenpick Resort and Muath. N. & Maria Kasandra went out of their way to make us very comfortable, They gave us an outstanding service. And definitely will be coming and visiting this place again and again.
