We checked in for two nights in a suite for our family. Arriving to our suite, the room was filthy smelled of smoke and was not of standard. We returned to the front desk and were going to check out to stay at the adjacent Marriott but the young gentleman supervisor was kind and patient and provided us with alternatives. He walked us up to another floor with two adjacent rooms connecting that were impeccably clean, quiet! We were so happy he took the time to bring us to our new room. Hotel is busy but rooms are quiet. Ammenities were great and you are walking distance to many great restaurants. The hotel restaurant breakfast was subpar. Not of standard quality and the evening service was non-existant one night. But otherwise it is a great choice near the airport.

The persons we dealt with in the restaurant were exceptional Rene and Anthony specifically treated us with utmost care as well as our nightime server.The receptionist, the omlet chef and front desk staff were quiet friendly and professional. Given the opportunity we would be delighted to return and would like to thank the Movenpick hotel for all its hospitality

Booked this as we had an early flight and this hotel was conveniently located near the airport. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport which runs every 20mins or so. When we arrived at Geneva Airport, the shuttle schedule said "upon request" so had to call the hotel for them to send a bus. When booking a return shuttle, when you check in you can tell them what time you prefer and reserve that time. There is a lovely cafe in the lobby and the room was lovely. The tv is at a bit of an odd angle but apart from that, it was great.

Staying close by, we decided to have supper at the hotel. The restaurant opened at 6:30pm. We entered at 6:45pm to a quiet restaurant with few guests present. Over the next hour or so a gentle trickle of guests arrived. It took a while to order a drink including water. That eventually arrived, minus the water; we decided to order a main course only having sensed the glacial pace of service. The food was fine when it eventually arrived. The kitchen must be grossly understaffed given the rate at which dishes appeared for the other guests. So overall an unimpressive experience.

As always, I was happy to stay at the Movenpick Geneva. Very convenient location if you come to town with a car and have meetings in the airport area. The staff at the front desk is very helpful and nice. A special mention for Julien. The Japanese restaurant is very good, even if a little costly. Choose well what you would order at the hotel restaurant. Stay with the classics - salads, burgers. Do not try the veau a la zurichoise, it was really not good.
